What are the jobs and responsibilities of a Surveyor?

Most of the time, a surveyor works for engineers, developers and construction companies.
They survey land, buildings, roads, bridges and other infrastructure in the city or state.
They define the boundaries of the property, take precise measurements, read construction drawings and ask the architect responsible for a project relevant questions.
Surveyor engineers must be licensed and train assistants in both supervised and mapped areas before joining a company.
