Dancers often perform in groups and express stories and ideas through dance performances. They often have their dance in a variety of styles, such as hip-hop, rock, jazz, blues, folk, and even classical dance.

A dancer is someone who dances for fun, as a hobby or for a job, but also for love and not for money or fame. The second example requires the body to move rhythmically, usually accompanied by music, while the first does not, which requires a much more serious commitment than the third, although it is still a dance.

The origin of the dancers is somewhat unclear, but one theory connects the word with the Old Frisian dintje, which means "tremble." In Old French, "dancer" means to dance.

What are jobs and responsibilities?

Dancers perform as many auditions as possible to get roles in shows and jobs with dance companies. They rehearse for weeks in advance and prepare for the performance by rehearsing complex dance moves that would be fun for the audience.

They study new dances and work closely with instructors, choreographers and other dancers to perfect their routines. They take part in promotional events for the production and can take part in photo opportunities.

As the dancers get older, they can change dance classes, go to university or take part in other events such as concerts, festivals, concerts and other public events. Most dancers train regularly and keep fit for their dance routines, so they stay strong and improve their health and fitness.

Many dancers live in large cities with employment opportunities, and these can be very competitive. Some dancers travel to different venues, some have regular working hours and some perform in different parts of the world, such as the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Dancers can either be away for months or travel for a few weeks at a time to travel between different venues.

Most dancers take part in private dance lessons and training programs, and they are trained at a very young age. Each dancer has his/her abilities, and as well as a dance style.

Many dancers are already 18 years old and are looking for a job in the dance industry at the age of 16, 17, 18, 19 or even 20.

They strive for a degree that allows them to explore other genres and to have performance opportunities to showcase their talents. A university degree is not required, but many leading professional dance companies offer intensive summer training programs and can select candidates for their programs. These programs include a variety of dance classes such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern, contemporary and contemporary dance as well as other dance styles.

What is the scope?

Several concert halls and private institutions sponsored performances by musicians and dancers to promote the performance of dance, music and acting artists. Many of the dancers were employed by Kala Kendra, Doordarshan, Dance troupes, All India Radio, professional theatrical and opera companies and semi-theatrical institutions like AIR, TV studios, movie studios, films division, song and drama divisions and many more.

Many schools hire dance teachers on a full-time basis to organize cultural activities and train children for cross-school competitions. You can always become self-employed - in private courses or the foundation's dance schools.
