What is Choreography?

Choreography is an art of performing different dance forms that comes under the subject performing Arts.

It includes different forms and learning of different dance forms, dance theory and its compositions.

Only a trained person can help others in learning the whole thing properly. Synchronizing all those steps one after another properly will make sure that all the expressions that the dancer wants to express transmit well to the spectator.

Lots of types of dances are there and in recent times fusion dances are very popular in India. To compose fusion dance forms, one needs to know all the dance forms in the first place. So, having a professional choreographer beside you is very important.

What is the basic course structure?

The duration of the course is 3 years and it is divided into 6 semesters with a different syllabus. Expert teachers will be there to teach each form and visiting faculties from different corners of the world would visit the institutes to teach their dance forms as well. Here is a brief view of the whole course.
